EPT Barcelona 2026
If the European Poker Tour has a spiritual home, it’s almost certainly nestled along the sun-drenched shores of the Mediterranean. Following a record-shattering 2025 that saw Thomas Eychenne walk away with over €1.2 million, the tour is officially heading back to the iconic Casino Barcelona from August 16–29, 2026.

With the Main Event consistently ranking among the largest in EPT history and a total prize pool that flirted with the €10 million mark last year, the anticipation for this summer’s stop has already reached a fever pitch.

A Dual-Festival Extravaganza

What makes the Barcelona stop unique is its twin-festival format. The action kicks off with the PokerStars Open, a series tailored for those looking for high-octane action at a more accessible price point.

Running from August 16–22, the €1,650 PokerStars Open Main Event serves as the perfect curtain-raiser before the heavy hitters of the EPT take center stage.

For players looking to bridge the gap, the PokerStars Open High Roller (€2,700) provides a mid-stakes challenge that frequently draws some of the most competitive fields on the schedule

High Stakes and Mystery Bounties

For the high-roller elite, the schedule is packed with opportunities to chase six and seven-figure scores. The €100,000 EPT Super High Roller remains the ultimate test of skill and bankroll, while the €10,300 EPT High Roller provides the traditional series-ending fireworks.

A fan favorite making its return is the €3,250 EPT Mystery Bounty, an event where the adrenaline of a deep run is amplified by the chance to pull a massive "gold envelope" bounty regardless of where you finish in the money.

Beyond the Felt: The Barcelona Vibe

While the action inside Casino Barcelona is world-class, the EPT experience is famous for its "off-the-felt" activities. Between August 16 and 29, the Catalonian capital offers everything from vibrant nightlife to the world-famous padel tournaments that have become a staple for EPT regulars.

Whether you're recharging on the beach after a long Day 1 or sampling world-class cuisine in the Port Olímpic, the festival offers a lifestyle that makes it a must-play destination for pros and recreational players alike.
