The European Poker Tour is heading back to Prague this December, bringing 12 days of tournament poker to the Czech capital. EPT Prague 2026 runs from December 2-13 at Hilton Prague King’s Casino, with the €5,300 Main Event taking centre stage alongside PokerStars Open tournaments, high rollers, PLO and mixed-game action.

€5,300 EPT Prague Main Event

Players have two starting flights to choose from, followed by several days of action before the champion is crowned on December 13.

EPT Prague 2025 Main Event recorded 1,224 entries, creating a prize pool of €5,936,400. Israel's Matan Krakow eventually claimed the title and €778,255 after a three-way deal with Bora Kurtulus and Dimitrios Gkatzas.

Prague has a habit of producing big Main Event fields, and another strong turnout would hardly be a surprise. Who knows, perhaps the 2026 edition could even surpass EPT Barcelona, which attracted 1,823 entries to its Main Event earlier this year. See all EPT Barcelona 2026 winners.

PokerStars EPT Prague Satellites

Regular satellites offer the more direct route, where feeder tournaments lead into larger qualifiers, with EPT Prague packages available in selected events.

The qualification ladder includes:

Online qualification is already underway, with the final Prague satellites scheduled for December 7.

PokerStars Power Path

Instead of buying directly into a large package qualifier, PokerStars Power Path takes players through a series of smaller tournaments. Collect tickets along the way and eventually earn a shot at a €10,300 Gold Power Pass.

The four steps are:

The final $55 tournament is ticket-only, so you cannot simply buy your way into the last stage. Power Passes are awarded to qualifying finishers, with the exact prize structure depending on the individual tournament.

The top package tier is the $10,300 Gold Power Pass, which comes with different live event package options.

Gold Power Pass packages include:

Seat & Expenses: €5,300 EPT Main Event entry, €1,100 PokerStars Open Main Event entry, €825 PokerStars Cup entry, plus the remaining package value as expenses.
Main Event & Hotel: €5,300 EPT Main Event entry, eight nights at Hilton Prague for the player and one guest, breakfast, an arrival airport transfer and the remaining package value as expenses.

Both options also include limited-edition merchandise and EPT player experiences. The hotel package covers check-in on December 6 and check-out on December 14.

EPT Prague Poker Trip: More Than Just the Tables

A December trip to Prague has plenty going for it beyond the tournament schedule. The city's Christmas markets, historic centre and winter atmosphere make it a popular destination for a poker break, even for players who bust out before the weekend.
