Dan “NukeTheFish!” Wilson has capped a monster WCOOP 2026 campaign with a third-place finish in the $10,300 WCOOP Main Event, collecting $309,078 after navigating a 289-entry field.

Wilson came into the final table eighth in chips, but the short stack clearly wasn't planning on quietly disappearing.

The final nine were already guaranteed $62,089, with $551,632 waiting for the winner.
Wilson eventually made it all the way to the final three before Felipe Boianovsky sent him to the rail.

Wilson's AQ ran into Boianovsky's suited J5, with the Brazilian improving on the 5-2-5-Q-A board to eliminate the Brit in third place.

Wilson Already Had Two WCOOP Titles

The $309K score was the biggest piece of an already rather tasty WCOOP campaign.
Wilson picked up two WCOOP titles in 2026, becoming one of the series' multiple champions.

His two victories put him alongside a fairly ridiculous collection of online poker names on the official leaderboard.

Wilson's two titles were his first WCOOP victories, and the Main Event deep run added another six-figure score to the pile.

UK Finishes Second in WCOOP Country Race

There was plenty happening beyond Wilson's individual run, too. The UK finished second in the WCOOP 2026 country leaderboard with 42 titles, behind Brazil's 84. Austria followed with 27, while Canada and Finland finished tied on 16.

So Wilson's Main Event run arrived as part of a seriously productive WCOOP for players listed under the UK banner.

Two titles, a Main Event final table and $309,078 for third. Not a bad way to finish September.
