Dean Hutchison won the Goliath GUKPT Main Event in Coventry, taking home £163,280 after beating 876 entries. Defending champion Ravi finished second to earn £134,000. The festival featured 25 events, including the £2 Million estimated Goliath Main Event in Coventry.

The Goliath GUKPT Main Event in Coventry has officially crowned a champion. Dean Hutchison outperformed a massive field of competitors to secure first place, taking home the top prize of £163,280. 

The tournament served as a major centerpiece within the broader Goliath poker festival hosted in Coventry from 23 July to 2 August.

The Goliath festival is recognized as the largest live poker tournament held outside of Las Vegas. The event schedule featured a total of 25 tournaments, led by the £2 Million Est. Goliath Main Event.

The Goliath GUKPT Main Event attracted a total field of 876 entries. Hutchison navigated through the entire field to claim the title and the £163,280 top payout.


Standing in his path during the final stretch was Ravi, who entered the event seeking to defend his championship title. 

Ravi ultimately came up just short of a repeat victory, finishing in second place. Despite falling one spot shy of defending his crown, Ravi earned £134,000 for his impressive runner-up finish.

Hutchison's victory over the 876-entry field earned him the trophy and £163,280 in prize money. Meanwhile, Ravi closed out another remarkable tournament run with a substantial six-figure payout, marking another successful installment of the Goliath series in Coventry.
