Over the ten-day festival, a record-shattering €5.7 million was paid out to players, anchored by a Main Event that drew 1,694 entries and produced a €2.14 million prize pool, the largest in the venue's illustrious 20-year history.
Efficiency and Volume: The Stats Behind the Series
While Switzerland’s Sandro Carucci took home the headline prize of €280,000, the true story was the sheer volume of players flocking to the Es Saadi Marrakech Resort. The tournament fields grew by 10% this year, with an increasingly diverse international complexion.
Sandro Carucci The 25,000 MAD High Roller saw its prize pool climb to €715,000, while the Mini Main Event reached a new high of €600,000. Even the 4,500 MAD Opener, traditionally a smaller event, saw nearly 900 players cycle through the poker room, setting the tone for a festival that never seemed to slow down.
