Queen of Tallinn 2026

Queens of Tallinn is getting its biggest Main Event yet when the women-focused festival returns to Estonia later this month.

Running from August 27–30, the fourth edition brings the Main Event buy-in up to €555 and surrounds it with deepstacks, bounty tournaments, PLO and the returning three-player Team Challenge. Olympic Park Casino and the adjoining Hilton Tallinn Park will once again host the series.

The distinction on the guarantees is important: OlyBet's published schedule includes guaranteed satellite seats, but does not currently advertise a fixed prize-pool guarantee for the Main Event or the festival as a whole.

Three Days to Decide the Main Event

The €555 Main Event begins on Friday afternoon and runs through Sunday.

Players start with 30,000 chips, while the structure uses 40-minute levels. Nine levels are scheduled for Day 1 before the surviving field returns at noon on August 29. Late registration continues into Day 2, which ends once the final nine have been determined.

The nine-handed final table begins at noon on August 30 and is scheduled for a livestream.

The increased buy-in comes after three consecutive years of Main Event field growth. Entries rose from 65 in 2023 to 85 in 2024 and then 96 in 2025. Last year's field generated €27,677, with Giedre Valgemäe winning following a four-player final-table deal.

Several Formats Make the Side Schedule

Queens of Tallinn is primarily an NLHE festival, but the side programme is not limited to one format.

A €150 PLO4/PLO5 event runs on Saturday evening, giving the schedule its main Omaha entry. Before that, the €200 PokerNews Queens Crown Deepstack gets underway at 14:30, with a 30,000 starting stack and 20-minute levels.

Bounty formats feature on both Friday and Sunday. The €150 traditional bounty event carries €40 bounties, while the final day's €250 Progressive Bounty assigns €100 to the bounty component.

The festival also keeps its Team Challenge format. Three-player teams accumulate points through eligible women-only tournaments, with a portion of those prize pools redirected to the team competition.

Tallinn Provides a Familiar Setting

Queens of Tallinn returns to a venue that has already hosted several major poker festivals in 2026.

Olympic Park Casino is connected to Hilton Tallinn Park, with the hotel overlooking Politsei Park and sitting within walking distance of both medieval Old Town and Kadriorg Park.

That makes the late-August event relatively compact geographically: the poker room, festival hotel and central Tallinn attractions are all in the same part of the city.

The Old Town itself has held UNESCO World Heritage status since 1997 and preserves much of Tallinn's medieval street network and architecture.

For Queens of Tallinn, however, the main change in 2026 happens inside the poker room. After three editions of steadily growing fields, the move to a €555 Main Event gives this year's festival a different scale when the first cards are dealt on August 28.
