The 2026 World Series of Poker set an all-time record with 251,899 entries, awarded $469.9 million in prize money, and collected $47.3 million in tournament fees. Of that, $33.1 million was retained by the WSOP and $14.2 million paid to staff.

While many players leave Las Vegas with smaller bankrolls than when they arrived, the 2026 World Series of Poker generated substantial revenue as an operator during its record-setting summer schedule.

With the Main Event final table still to be played, pokerfuse has published a detailed numerical analysis of the 2026 WSOP, including tournament fee figures that provide insight into the festival's financial performance.

The 2026 World Series of Poker recorded 251,899 total entries, including re-entries, setting a new all-time record. Statistics for unique entrants have not been released. Despite many individual events experiencing contraction, overall participation reached a historic high.

Those entries produced $469.9 million in total prize money across the series. The Main Event, which became the fourth largest in WSOP history, generated an $85.6 million prize pool, representing almost one-sixth of the total prize money awarded during the festival.

One of the most notable figures from the pokerfuse analysis is the total amount collected in tournament fees. The 2026 WSOP generated $47.3 million in tournament fees.

Of that amount, $33.1 million was retained by the World Series of Poker, while $14.2 million was allocated to staff.

The tournament fee total stands out given the dealer and tournament director errors that were observed during the series.

Although it was not included in the pokerfuse analysis, the estimated rake from the 2026 WSOP Main Event is $5,524,800. That figure is described as being almost equal to the tournament's second-place prize money.
