Andrii Novak won the 2026 WSOP Online Main Event on GGPoker, earning $3,931,259 and his first bracelet after overcoming Simon Beckmann heads-up.

Ukraine's Andrii Novak won the 2026 WSOP Online Main Event on GGPoker, overcoming a substantial heads-up chip deficit against Austria's Simon Beckmann to claim his first WSOP bracelet and $3,931,259 in prize money.

The $5,000 buy-in tournament, Event #28 of the WSOP Online series, attracted 6,008 entries and generated a $28,538,000 prize pool.

Novak also received a $30,000 Super Pass for the 2026 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event, while Beckmann earned $3,030,486 for his runner-up finish.

Novak started the nine-handed final table as chip leader, but Beckmann took control during the later stages and entered heads-up play with a substantial advantage.

The Ukrainian recovered through a double-up, eventually building a 10-to-1 chip lead before securing the title.

Day 2 of the Main Event began with 608 players remaining from the original 6,008-entry field. Play continued until nine finalists remained in contention for the bracelet and the $3,931,259 first-place prize.

Novak entered the final table with the largest stack, ahead of Beckmann. However, the Austrian accumulated chips through several eliminations and eventually overtook the Ukrainian.

Brazil's Pablo Silva was the first finalist eliminated after his ace-queen encountered Beckmann's ace-king. Both players paired their kickers on the flop, leaving Silva with the inferior hand. He finished ninth for $491,676.

Kazakhstan's Yury "Ex Nadinsky" Nadinsky followed in eighth place after moving all-in for seven big blinds with ace-four. Charles "LaughingStorm" La Boissonniere called with ace-king, which held to eliminate Nadinsky for $637,476.

Hong Kong's Arian "Who Am I" Hassankashani was next to depart when his pocket tens ran into the pocket jacks of Moyan "JinWanDalaoHu36" Chen. Hassankashani collected $826,555 for seventh place.

Andrii Novak's Heads-Up Comeback

Despite entering the final table as chip leader, Novak began heads-up play trailing Beckmann, who had eliminated three of the nine finalists to establish a substantial advantage.

Novak recovered with a double-up and subsequently overtook Beckmann. He continued extending his lead until he held a 10-to-1 chip advantage, putting himself in position to close out the tournament.

In the final hand, Novak moved all-in with ace-jack, and Beckmann called with queen-seven of hearts. Novak paired his ace on the flop, while a ten on the turn left Beckmann with three outs.

The river brought a five, confirming Novak's victory and ending Beckmann's tournament in second place.

Novak collected $3,931,259, his first WSOP bracelet and a $30,000 Super Pass for the 2026 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event. Beckmann received $3,030,486 after finishing runner-up in the 6,008-entry tournament.
