Patrick Leonard Bags Series Double for Title Number 15

Hot on Glaser's heels is Newcastle native Patrick “pads1161” Leonard, who secured his fourth consecutive WCOOP multi-title series.

Earlier in the WCOOP, Leonard first took down the $530 NLHE Deep Stack, followed by the $530 NLHE Turbo late Saturday for $15,428.

This hot streak elevated Leonard to 15 career WCOOP titles, placing him just two behind Glaser on the all-time WCOOP leaderboard. Factor in his record 17 SCOOP victories, and Leonard holds the outright crown across PokerStars championship history with 32 combined COOP titles.

Global Titans Keep the Heat On

While British players grabbed the biggest headlines, several international crushers delivered standout performances:

Johannes "Jepser8" Straver (Netherlands): Accomplished a rare double by winning the flagship $5,200 Super Tuesday High Roller in back-to-back weeks, hauling in over $196,000.
Niklas "Lena900" Åstedt (Sweden): Locked up two titles within 48 hours, including the $5,200 Thursday Thrill PKO for $103,282, moving his lifetime WCOOP tally to 14.
João "Naza114" Vieira (Portugal): Matched Åstedt at 14 titles by taking down the $1,050 PLO8 World Championship for $27,202.
