The Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro has delivered a series of massive results, headlined by a career-defining performance from a Triton ambassador and a dramatic finish in a high-stakes anniversary celebration.

Seven years after coming painfully close to a major breakthrough, Danny Tang captured the biggest title of his professional career on Saturday night. The Triton ambassador outlasted a competitive 159-entry field to win the Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro $100,000 Main Event.

Tang secured a massive $3,522,000 top prize for his first-place finish. This victory pushes his career live tournament earnings beyond the $42 million mark and further strengthens his leading position at the top of Hong Kong’s all-time money list.

The $150,000 10th Anniversary Special at Triton Poker Montenegro concluded with a dramatic heads-up clash that shifted during the closing stages of the tournament. Jonathan Jaffe appeared poised to secure one of the most significant titles of his career, but a brutal hero call altered the momentum of the final table.

Ultimately, Latvian high roller Aleks Ponakovs closed out the victory under the lights to claim the first-place prize of $3,027,000. Jaffe finished as the runner-up, collecting $2,103,000 for his performance. The special anniversary tournament attracted 76 entries, generating an overall prize pool of $11,400,000 and featuring a final table stacked with elite high-stakes players.

In other tournament action, Tobias Schwecht leads the final seven players in the Triton $30K NLH/PLO event.

Meanwhile, the festival spotlight shifts to four cards as the $100,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event gets underway today at 5 p.m. local time.

Regarded as the biggest and most prestigious PLO tournament on the global poker calendar, the event expects to draw a field of elite high-stakes talent competing for a highly coveted title.

Day 1 of the PLO Main Event features ten levels of play. Unlimited re-entry remains open through the start of Day 2, allowing the field size and the total prize pool to grow.

Following a stretch of large scores and dramatic action, the tournament stands as one of the headline events of the Montenegro festival.
