Chidwick entered the final table as one of the most prominent names in the field and ultimately secured fifth place. His result was worth $279,000, adding another significant cash to his career earnings and moving him closer to Bryn Kenney on poker's all-time money list.

His fifth-place finish came in a final table that featured players from Canada, Lithuania, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, China, Malaysia and the United States.

American high-stakes legend Ben Tollerene was also among the finalists. Tollerene finished eighth for $118,000.

Daniel Dvoress Wins the $30,000 NLH 8-Handed Event

Canada's Daniel Dvoress claimed the title after reaching the top of the final-table standings. His victory earned him $942,000.

Xuan Liu, also representing Canada, finished runner-up for $638,000. Lithuania's Gytis Lazauninkas completed the top three, collecting $424,000 for third place.

The final table included several established high-stakes players, with Chidwick and Tollerene providing two of the most recognisable names in the eight-player field.

Chidwick's $279,000 fifth-place payout placed him ahead of Tollerene, who collected $118,000 for eighth, while Dvoress took the largest prize of the event with his $942,000 victory.

For Chidwick, the fifth-place result also brought him closer to Bryn Kenney on poker's all-time money list.
