Robert McAdam turned a satellite entry into a massive €104,475 victory at the MPF Spring 2026 Grand Event. Following a four-way deal and a dramatic final table, the British consultant secured his career-best win amidst a diverse festival schedule.

The European poker circuit recently witnessed a spectacular display of skill and variance at the MPF Spring 2026. The festival reached its peak during the prestigious Grand Event, a tournament featuring a €540+€60 buy-in that attracted a massive field of competitors.

After a week of intense strategic battles, the final day commenced with 12 hopefuls returning to the felt, all eyeing the life-changing top prize.

The Grand Event: Robert McAdam’s Six-Figure Milestone

The final table was defined by high-stakes negotiation and dramatic shifts in momentum. When play reached the final four, a deal was struck to redistribute the remaining prize pool.

At the time of the agreement, Giuseppe Mazza-Boussemart held a dominant chip lead. However, the nature of tournament poker is unpredictable; a brutal cooler against Robert McAdam saw the chip leader exit in fourth place.

The final showdown featured McAdam against Austrian pro Pascal Inkert. In a spirited heads-up battle, McAdam maintained his composure to claim the trophy and the remaining €30,000 set aside in the deal. The victory secured McAdam a career-best payout of €104,475.

A Life-Changing Return on Investment

McAdam’s victory is a testament to the "poker dream." An electronic payments consultant who recently moved to North Wales, McAdam entered the event through a satellite entry, resulting in an astronomical return on investment. He attributed his incredible "hot run" to the unwavering support of his partner, Ewa, and their young son, Alfie.

A Festival of Diversity: Mixed Games and Specialty Events

While the Grand Event took center stage, the MPF Spring 2026 offered a paradise for variety seekers. The schedule was packed with non-Hold'em formats and signature tour brands:
  • Mixed Games: Fans of varied formats competed in the MPF 8-Game (won by Ilkka Elias Heikkilä), the Sviten Special (won by Simen Claudius Lampe), and the technical HORSE 5 Mix.
  • Signature Brands: The festival hosted prestigious events including the APAT Maltese Championship, The Hendon Mob Championship, and the fan-favorite Mystery Bounty.
  • Specialty Tournaments: Angela Catherine Rogan took the top spot in the Ladies First! event, while Ghassan El Hoss emerged victorious in the Seniors Event for players aged 50 and over.
