Three cities, two tournaments and £200,000 in guarantees; a solid summary of the latest weekend at Grosvenor Poker, outside the bigger GUKPT spotlight.

During the weekend, Manchester hosted a £300 G300 with £100,000 guaranteed, while £200 G200 tournaments ran in Newcastle and Portsmouth simultaneously for another £50,000 apiece.

Here is how all that looked like from our perspective.

G300 Brings Manchester’s BNR Poker Open to a Close

It would be unfair to refer to the Manchester G300 as a standalone £100,000 event.

In reality, the G300 served as the final tournament of the BNR Poker Open, a 16-day festival that began on October 10 with £280,000 in total guarantees spread across nine events. The schedule had already moved through a £50,000 guaranteed Mini Main, a PLO Main Event, Mystery Bounty and Micro Championship before shifting to the G300.

This Manchester event is Round 9 of Grosvenor’s inaugural G300 season, introduced in 2026 as the higher-priced companion to the G200. Manchester had already hosted a G300 in March, while The Vic, Leeds, Luton, Reading and Coventry also appeared on the calendar during the year.

G200 Runs the Same Weekend in Newcastle and Portsmouth

While Manchester played for £100,000, the G200 split its latest round across two ends of England.

Newcastle and Portsmouth both hosted £175+£25 events with £50,000 guarantees, using the same flight structure: an online Day 1 on Wednesday, live flights on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, a turbo on Sunday and Day 2 at 4:30 p.m.

That meant players didn't need to travel halfway across the country to chase the same series points or guarantee.

Grosvenor has taken the series to at least 13 venues in 2026, and several rounds have deliberately run in two or three cities at once rather than asking every player to converge on one casino.

Newcastle had already staged G200 events in January and July, while Portsmouth previously hosted Round 4 in March.

Next Stop: Leeds, Bolton and Edinburgh

The next G200 and G300 rounds arrive together again from November 10–15.

The G300 heads to Leeds with another £100,000 guarantee, while the G200 splits Round 13 between Bolton and Edinburgh, each with £50,000 guaranteed.
