Richard Geyer claims the chip lead in the €1,650 PokerStars Open Main Event at EPT Paris 2026, while Ian Bradley tops the counts in the €10,200 Mystery Bounty. Both events boast massive prize pools as the action intensifies.

The 2026 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Paris is officially underway at the Palais des Congrès, and the opening events have already generated massive prize pools and intense competition.

With two major trophies on the line, Richard Geyer and Ian Bradley have emerged as the early protagonists, commanding massive stacks in the PokerStars Open and the Mystery Bounty, respectively.

Geyer Dominates the €1,650 PokerStars Open Main Event

The €1,650 PokerStars Open Main Event kicked off with a massive surge of interest. Across the first two starting flights (Day 1a and 1b), the field swelled to 426 entries, creating a formidable €717,120 prize pool.

As the dust settled on the opening sessions, only 64 players managed to secure a bag for the next stage.

Leading the charge is Richard Geyer, who put on a clinical performance to finish the day with 976,000 chips. Geyer’s massive lead sets him up as the man to beat as the field moves closer to the money spots and the final table.

Bradley Leads Star-Studded €10,200 Mystery Bounty

For those looking for higher stakes and the thrill of the "envelope pull," the €10,200 Mystery Bounty did not disappoint. The event attracted 65 elite entries, generating a €303,600 prize pool (excluding the bounty portion).

By the end of Day 1, the field had been whittled down to just 30 survivors. Sitting at the top of the counts is Ian Bradley, who bagged 452,000 chips.

Bradley faces a shark-infested field as the tournament heads into the final day, where the lucrative mystery bounties will finally come into play, potentially eclipsing the standard prize money.

As EPT Paris 2026 continues, all eyes remain on the Palais des Congrès to see if these early chip leaders can convert their momentum into EPT silverware.
