WSOPC Tallinn Crowns Three Champions as Main Event Grows

Six rings have already been awarded at the 2026 WSOP Circuit Tallinn, but three open events have supplied the clearest picture of the festival so far.

Antti Perttula defeated the stop’s biggest completed field in the Mini Main, Mehdi Yazdanpanah came through a 677-entry No-Limit Hold’em event and Tarjei Forus collected the €1,100 PLO4/PLO5 title. The €1,500 Main Event is now working through its final two flights, with Baptiste Caim holding the benchmark stack.

Main Event Reaches 524 Entries During Day 1D

The €1 million guaranteed Main Event had reached 524 entries during the early stages of Day 1D on July 30.

Of those, 394 came through the opening three flights, with another 130 recorded early in Day 1D. One further turbo-format flight remains before the tournament moves into Day 2 on July 31.

Baptiste Caim is the player to catch among the confirmed qualifiers. The Frenchman converted his 50,000 starting stack into 1,098,000 during Day 1B, becoming the only player so far to advance with more than one million chips.

Robin Vanloot follows with 961,000, having already finished third in the Mini Main earlier in the week.

Day 2 is scheduled for July 31, with the tournament continuing through to its final day on August 2. The eventual champion will become the fifth Main Event winner crowned at the current Tallinn stop, following Jenny Westerlund’s victory in 2025.

Perttula Converts Mini Main Run Into €54,300

The first ring event established an attendance mark that the rest of the series will struggle to match.

A total of 1,162 entries were recorded in the €350 Mini Main, creating a €342,209 prize pool.

After four starting flights and an extended final stage, Finland’s Antti Perttula faced Victor Amat for the title.

Perttula secured the final elimination to earn €54,300, while Amat received €36,100. Robin Vanloot took €25,200 in third before moving directly into another deep run in the Main Event.

Two Late Rivers Help Yazdanpanah Complete Comeback

Mairo Tori appeared close to keeping the €555 NLH ring in Estonia when he carried a three-to-one advantage into heads-up against Mehdi Yazdanpanah.

The final match changed repeatedly. Yazdanpanah survived one all-in by pairing his nine on the river, then found another river card to improve against Tori’s two pair in a later confrontation. Once he moved ahead, the Swede completed the comeback and collected the €59,465 top prize.

The tournament drew 677 entries, putting €321,575 into the prize pool. Tori received €39,330 as runner-up, with Sweden’s Arasch Mirzai earning €26,830 in third.

Forus Adds Second Ring for Norway

Tarjei Forus supplied Norway with its second champion of the series by winning the €1,100 PLO4/PLO5 event.

Forus worked his way through 198 entries to reach a Nordic heads-up contest against Finland’s Rasmus Ekström. He finished the job to earn €43,930 from the €188,100 prize pool.

Ekström took €28,370, while Latvia’s Vladislavs Petrovs completed the top three with a €18,930 result.

With the final Main Event flights still running, Tallinn’s biggest payouts remain unresolved. However, the first half of the festival has already generated more than 2,000 combined entries across these three completed open events alone.
