PartyPoker Tour Madrid Closes With Main Event Victory for Alexey Neofitov

The 2026 PartyPoker Tour Madrid festival concluded at the Casino Gran Via, breaking attendance records and drawing massive fields to the Spanish capital. 

As the tour celebrates its 20th anniversary, the entire festival generated a total of 3,051 entries and awarded €567,210 in cumulative prize pools across all events, including satellites.

The flagship €500 Main Event saw Alexey Neofitov secure the championship title on Sunday after navigating a massive field of 535 entries. Neofitov entered the final table holding the chip leader position and capitalized on his advantage to earn €43,250, marking the largest live tournament score of his career to date.

Before finalizing his victory in just under 2 hours, Neofitov struck a heads-up deal with Hugo Caldeira. The agreement left €7,500 and the coveted PartyPoker Main Event trophy on the line for the final stretch of play.

Ultimately, Neofitov claimed the lion's share of the gigantic €238,075 Main Event prize pool and the honor of becoming the PartyPoker Tour Madrid Main Event champion.

In the €150 Mini Main Event, Federico Estrada Mazzarella emerged victorious from an enormous field of 918 entries. The tournament prize pool grew to a gigantic €114,750, easily smashing its original €50,000 guarantee.

Mazzarella captured the record-breaking title in style, banking €16,550 for his performance. The final table reflected a dominant theme seen throughout the festival, with local Spanish players accounting for seven of the final nine competitors.
