Massive £140,000 National Bad Beat Jackpot Triggered at Grosvenor London Victoria

Following the historic hit, the National Bad Beat Jackpot has reset to a baseline of £75,000. It will continue to grow at 6:00 p.m. BST every Thursday until another qualifying hand triggers a payout. 

To hit the jackpot currently, a player must have quad aces beaten. However, the hand requirement will gradually reduce in strength the longer the jackpot remains unwon. The lowest qualifying hand strength that can trigger a payout is Four of a Kind deuces.

While the £140,000 prize pool is an incredible sum, it does not stand as the largest Bad Beat Jackpot in the history of Grosvenor Casinos. That distinction belongs to a colossal £380,000 jackpot won in Sunderland in December 2021. 

In that previous historic hand, Michael Wharton held quad tens and lost to the straight flush of Adam Smith. That specific payout saw Wharton bank £114,000 as the victim, while Smith walked away with £57,000.
